Normandy Tour: 70 years of living history
June 6th, 1944, 6.30am. At first light in the morning, operation « OVERLORD » started with the landing operations of Allied Forces in NORMANDY.

Thousands of soldiers fought to free France from German occupation.
70 years later, monuments, museums, villages and people still bring to life this major part of our history.

My family is from NORMANDY as far as it can take us and my grandfather was a war prisoner. As any family in NORMANDY, its members experienced and lived through the SECOND WORLD WAR and I will never forget what I heard from them, telling me about that time.
